ABOUT

We are Guilty Match, a local Austin band that has been together for over 20 years. Due to the recent departure of our bassist, we are searching for a replacement who is a mature, responsible person with a passion for playing bass, able to learn our existing tunes, but more importantly a desire to create their own part for new songs. We generally rehearse once a week in our fully equipped recording studio that is in the South Congress/Oltorf area. For convenience, we prefer someone who lives within a reasonable driving distance from it.

We create original music and perform for the sheer love and pleasure of it. We are not a party band but rather normal people with day jobs, homes, and families. We are selective regarding when and where we play, with an emphasis on quality over quantity of gigs.
