I'm looking to play bass or guitar in a band, but I also play quite a few other instruments. I have a wide range of musical interests and pretty solid understanding of theory (well enough to pick up on the idea of more advanced theory easily enough). I'm cool with chords, tabs, or sheet music.
I learned to play music with college friends who have since moved away, which means I'm used to making music in group settings. Even though I'm not a very strong vocalist, I also love singing along and backing vocals because I believe music is about expressing yourself and bringing joy to people, not perfectionism.
