ABOUT

We are Purple Albatross, a successful gigging East Bay band seeking an energetic drummer. We play tight arrangements of danceable classic rock and soul and a number of original tunes. We are based in Berkeley, El Cerrito, and Pleasant Hill.
We are easy to get along with, but serious about our music and looking for someone that feels the same way. We are looking for someone that wants to gig 1 - 2x / month. We currently have or had gigs lined up most every month since June 2023, sometimes twice a month. We are currently rehearsing at the lead vocalist's house in North Berkeley We have 30+ songs in our current repertoire and are always adding new covers and originals.
