We are a cover band playing pop music from 80's to present day. We tend to do mostly 80's and 90's dance music. No originals. Basically have had 3 versions of band over about a 10 year period with drums and keys being consistent. Current version of band had two female vocalists sharing leads and back-ups with a setlist consisting of about 50 songs. We cover artists such as No Doubt, Blondie, A Taste of Honey, Hole, INXS, TLC, The Cardigans, Whitney Houston, The Go-Go's , Scandal, etc. Currently looking for a replacement of one of our vocalists who can take lead on soprano songs for about 50% of the songs and provide backup vocals on the remainder. We do this mostly for fun but enjoy getting paid. Goal is about 12 gigs a year and 12 practices a year. As the band settles with a new female vocalist it could be a few more gigs and less practices. We all have day time jobs and don't want to gig every weekend, but still take the band serious and want to put our best performances. Recent gigs have been a corporate event for hi-tech company, private parties, and bar gigs. We have practice space at home in Danville, CA area.
