ABOUT

I have a goal to create a themed album this year using Bandlab and am interested in collaborating - from a distance - with someone (or possibly multiple people) on bass and/or guitar, keys and vocals, but I'm not totally married to those instruments.
If vocals are involved, I'm leaning more toward a masculine sounding voice, since I'm female and have the mids and highs covered, but will try to remain open minded!

It's hard for me to name the sound I'm after... sort of an ambient, folky, soulful vibe with an ethereal quality and hopefully a sexy, electronic element (love that bass!). I am also a big hip hop fan and might be interested in rapping over some beats, if that seemed like something that was on the table, but I'm not attached.

More about me: I'm actually pretty freshly out of the closet as a musician, but I've been musical all my life. I am strongest on vocals and percussion, though I also play the drums and some basic acoustic guitar. I am also a writer, which seems pertinent to mention.
