UPDATE-I just moved to Conway for my job. I would like to play acoustic venues with a good lead player,fiddle player, and whatever else we can come up with. I have sound gear I just need some talent! I can be reached at 409.238.1252.
Shawn Newell & Straight Six is a hot Texas Country band based in Orange, Texas. We have a good group of guys, pro quality sound gear, and an awesome place to practice. We have shows booked thru the end of the year in Southeast Texas. We are looking primarily for a top notch lead guitar player to come on board and make it happen. Our current player will help with the transition on original music. We would like to add a good rocking fiddle player and/or steel guitar as well. I need musicians that are committed, loyal, and ready to cash in on the opportunity we have. If you live outside our area and are possibly willing to move closer I can help with that also. We will be recording our debut album in the next 2-3 months.
