SEEKING

Band to Join, Lead Guitar, Bass Guitar, Drums.

ABOUT

My name is Cameron, and I'm a singer and guitarist looking to form a three piece hard rock/classic rock band.

I am currently looking for a bassist, as I have a drummer in mind should I find the right bassist for the band.

I have played in many bands before and have experience with all of the following:
- writing and performing original songs/vocals
- writing and performing original guitar parts
- being a frontman (yes that is different than being a singer!)
- marketing and advertising bands
- merchandising band swag
- booking shows (I have an extensive list of contacts in the LA area)
- promotional/demo material
- band website management

In general, the band I want to start would be focused on two things: simplicity and fun.

That means I'd rather join forces with less talented, less technical players in favor of enthusiasm, passion, and commitment.

My song-writing tends to be influenced by classic bands like AC/DC, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Motley Crue, The Rolling Stones, and Guns N Roses. I enjoy blues-inspired music, with simple hard hitting licks, funky basslines, catchy vocals, and hard hitting drums, though all areas of hard rock can be considered.

My past samples can be found here:

You should have the following qualities/expectations:

Though we like to drink and have a good time, there will be no hard drugs
Be responsible, on time, and respectful of time commitment
Be employed and have transportation
Have all your own equipment
Be available to practice once a week for 2 to 3 hours
No egos no attitudes, just collaboration to the common passion
Be able to control your volume. I'd like someone who can play hole in the wall joints to big clubs
Being located near the west side of Los Angeles is a huge plus
Being able to sing backup vocals/harmonies (even simple whoahs) is also a huge plus

Please do not expect to be paid. We will certainly make money at gigs, and always try to get paid, but I'm in this for the love of the music. My our stance is: We play hard every show, blood sweat and tears, whether for a few drinks and a few fans or a million dollars and a stadium.

Does this sound like something you'd like to be a part of?

Shoot me an email and we can go from there!
