Howdy, we are a melodic metalcore band called Still Searching. We used to be a 5 piece however our drummer departed from us. We plan to move onward however and are looking for a serious and dedicated to join us.
About our sound: We are very influenced by mid 2000's metalcore bands such as Trivium, As I Lay Dying, Bullet for my Valentine, All That Remains, Killswitch Engage, Darkest Hour and others. However we also take a lot of influences from bands outside of the metalcore genre such as The Black Dahlia Murder, Lamb of God, Protest the Hero, Pantera, Megadeth, Metallica and other Prog, Death, Groove, and Thrash bands.
What we look for is someone with a quality kit and a knowledge of what to do behind the kit. We don't require a huge kit or anything. Just someone who can fit with us stylistically, yet put their own spin on it.
Chemistry between the band members is always a good thing to have, it allows for a more solid performance in the studio, on the stage, and when not playing music. We don't mind smoking or drinking but no hard drugs (I.E. Cocaine, Krokodil, Meth, Bath Salts, Crack etc...)
