{tl;dr} Amateur bass and guitarist, skilled metal vocalist with wide singing range. Looking to write pop/rock, indie, hardcore, metalcore, deathcore, etc. Also do hip/hop beats.
Ian McCollum, 25 years old. I dabbled in music in my teens practicing only acoustic guitar, and retained my rhythm from playing percussion in the school band. I spent most of my musical life singing and refining my voice. I can do some high screamo screams, some low growls, along with many other metal vocal techniques. I can sing too, and know my scales well enough to learn new ones quickly
I took up bass a year and a half ago and have gain sufficient skill to play along. If it’s something simple, no problem. I can carry a groove and find something fun in a bridge or transition. Same goes for electric guitar, as I spent the majority of my time playing guitar on acoustic.
I probably sound like a dad with this long ass description, but whatever. Want you to know what you’re getting.
