ABOUT

Versatile drummer/percussionist. I've played just about every genre, from classical to jazz to rock. I started at age 6 and have been rolling ever since.

UPDATE: I just loaded a video I helped a friend record a year ago. I did the drum track using an electronic kit, but it turned out pretty well.

The site only allows me to pick 3 genres, but I'm comfortable with a wide range.

The drums pictured are my kit, with the Sabians. Note, the second picture is circa 1981/82 and is here for fun. That's me with some high school buddies on their back deck. I think the neighbors called the sheriff about 15 min after this picture.......

EQUIPMENT

Slingerland 1962 White Marine Pearl
- Original was a 4 piece. I've added a second mounted tom (mid 70s)
- Acquiring additional vintage WMP toms for expansion as required
- Full Zildjian Avedis 1960s set up
- Full Sabian set up
- Original L cymbal stand
- Premier boom stands and straight stand.
- WFL drums hi hat stand (1960s)
- Mix of Ludwig and Vic Firth sticks, both nylon and wood tips
- Various other percussion equipment

For a more rocking sound, I have Premier XPK/APK kit mix, which allows me to expand or contract the kit depending on the venue, etc.

UPDATE: Ludwig restoration complete a couple of weeks ago. It took a long time to gather the hardware to finish off. Posted a picture of the kit.

For home practice, I also have an Alesis DM10 Studio kit (6 piece). It certainly keeps the noise down.
