Came up on late 60's early 70's Pop/Rock/R&B/Motown, played in garage bands at 13 yrs of age, developed some chops, and was offered the drum seat in a 10 pc horn band at the age of 16, which lasted some years. Self-taught in the early years and after a hiatus, I formed a group and started gigging again in the late 80's. At that time I studied with Fred Klatz at The Collective in Manhattan, and with Jim Miller in Philadelphia . I met my soul mate (may she rest in peace) we started a duo, played for years together, she sang, I drummed to backing tracks (in essence becoming a human metronome). With thanks and gratitude, I'm now sitting in with some musician buddies and consider myself a student again, trying to find where I fit in this wonderful adventure, Music. I'm easy going and open minded, seeking the same.
