SEEKING
Drums.ABOUT
Moved to the area about 5yrs ago from NY, and I now find myself with time to start playing music again. I'm looking for musicians to play with, and gig occasionally. I have a full-time job, so I'm looking to play/gig for enjoyment, and not to make a career out of it. That being said, I'm interested in playing with people who share the same level of commitment.
I'm more comfortable on rhythm guitar, but can play bass if needed. I have a wide taste in music, so I'm looking to play anything by/similar to the influences I've listed, as well as originals. That includes any "genre-specific" projects (i.e. punk band, cover band, blues/rock, rockabilly/psychobilly, theme bands, etc.)
*Prior to moving down here, I worked in a music store, where I was trained in stringed instrument repair. I'm mentioning this, because if repairs/set-ups/etc are needed for the band, I'd be able to cover that.
Also worth noting-- I used to be a roadie for a band, and I'm pretty good at Tetris, so getting gear to the gig won't be an issue.
I understand messaging can be difficult here without having the premier membership, so if is easier, mine is tjneu12
