Yo, the names Matt, I'm a guitarist, and play a mix of thrash metal, death-metal, and metal-core. I'm looking for all the real metal-heads out there to get a band going and fu*k sh*t up. I've got a band idea now that i refer to as Dark Guardian. For it I have some music written already, and am in the middle of recording the guitars/vocals. Influences
Like I said before, I play a mix of thrash, death metal and metal core.
My thrash side includes a lot of Anthrax, Megadeth, and Metallica. I also love pure 80s metal, so I like to mix bands like Judas Priest, Motley Crue, Ozzy, and Dokken in there as well.
As far as Death-Metal goes, I'm more on the melodic side, so you've got stuff like DevilDriver, Amon Amarth, Lamb of God, and Becoming the Archetype.
And last but not least, there's Metal-Core. In that you'll find As I Lay Dying, Unearth, Born of Osiris and All Shall Perish.
Throw that in a blender, and you'll have a good ol' "Matt's Metal Smoothie" of what my sound is like.
