----Looking for jazz drummer who is comfortable playing odd time signatures(Overland)---
All original project looking for an experienced drummer comfortable playing odd time signatures such as 5/4, 5/8, 7/8, 7/4, 11/4 , 11/8, 13 etc. in Swing, Latin, and Jazz Rock styles. This is a learning-based project.
We have no gigs as of yet but we are getting close and need a drummer to fill the gap. The band consists of electric guitar (the composer), bass and keyboards (me).
The tunes are jazz charts and etudes based on odd {exotic}scales {"through composed" , "inside"} and odd time signatures. It is highly beneficial if you are an excellent sight-reader. If you are an ear player only please have odd times completely mastered.
Knowledge of Classical Indian Music or Middle Eastern Music a plus
