We are a Chicago based punk rock band. We started playing more or less recently but already have a bunch of material. We are leaning towards horror punk with folklore themed songs mostly.

Influences
The biggest influences that we grew up listening to are Green Day, Nirvana, Anthrax, Rage Against the Machine, Motorhead, Misfits and Anti-Flag.
In terms of dual guitar work, it'd definitely be Annihilator (technicality), Megadeth (melodicity), and Destruction (they incorporate elements of classical music in their riffs and solos and that is just insanely cool).
In terms of riff construction, I gotta mention Kreator, Children of Bodom, Death Angel, and Pantera.
Some bands that deserve mention are Metallica, Testament, Avenged Sevenfold, Fugazi, anything from NWOBHM (Alex is a huge fan), Airbourne, Nuclear Assault, Havok, Lost Society, Rammstein, Accept, Overkill, Sleep Token, Gojira, Meshuggah and a bunch of other bands.

We're looking for a bassist who is not afraid to deviate from the rhythm guitar part and fill in with solos.
Additionally, we need a solo guitarist who is comfortable with playing outside of the minor pentatonic scale and has a sort of jazzy influence.
All members will be singing so it helps if you're comfortable with sharing vox.

However, we practice at Fort Knox, and they provide equipment.
Our own equipment will be improved as soon as we go.
