Hello, If you are looking to be a part of a music ministry just seeking to praise the Lord, we need you!! Since we are growing church, all of the musician and church staff (including myself and the pastor) are non-paid volunteers for the Lord.We are a multi-cultural church looking to expand our music ministry. We are in need of solid Christian musicians that can play multiple styles of Christian music (preferably with a background in Gospel). Because our congregation is so diverse we have the luxury of playing several types of Christian music - everything from Traditional Gospel to Christian Rock to Contemporary Christian music. Currently we have rehearsals on most Wednesdays evenings (8pm to 9pm) and on Sunday morning prior to service (8:45am to 9:45am). Sunday morning service begins at 11am.

Hello,
My name is Anton Brooks and I am the praise leader for Center Point Church in Dale City, VA. We will be hosting a back to school praise concert at our church on August 4th, 2012. In preparation for the event we are looking for several Christian musicians to permanently join our praise team. This will be the first of many Christian music events we will be hosting. We are a growing church so at this time no musicians including myself are paid to play. We are a multi-cultural church so we play several genres of Christian music, everything from Hillsong to Old School Gospel.
Currently we have 4 musicians and 9 singers.
1. Piano/(Bass on Keyboard)
2. Drummer
3. Percussionist
4. Lead Guitar <- Lead guitar player is leaving for school this fall
5. 9 singers
We are in need of:
1. An additional Keyboard Player
2. Bass Player
3. Guitar player/s
4. And we have a Hammond B52 in perfect working order seeking a player
Criteria:
1. You must be a Christian to be a part of the music ministry
2. It is important that any musicians or singers would be able to make rehearsals on a regular basis.
3. It is also important that musicians can play multiple styles of Christian music
Rehearsal and service times:
We rehearse on Wednesday evenings from 7:00-8:00 pm and again on Sunday morning prior to service from 8:30-9:30 am before Sunday School. Our Sunday service begins at 10:55 and generally conclude around 12:30.
