ABOUT

My name is Alex Ritchie and I have been playing drums for 9 years. I have been in a number of Metal bands, my latest being Meridian. I am very dedicated and passionate about what I do. I am looking for a metal band that is passionate about what is being put onto the stage. Music for me is my passion and and I want to share it with others, whether that may be my band mates or the people out on the stage. I look towards playing Hardcore/post hardcore, Djent(whether it's a genre or not). You can label it what you want but I can't deny the pure feeling I get when listening to guys like TesseacT, Periphery, August Burns Red and Memphis May Fire. These bands are my largest influence. I take pride in my craft on the set and hope to realize my dream soon. I am easy to work with and I will make every move and adjust myself to play. I have a drum channel under ./drumcorpdude2008. I have a TAMA 5 piece kit Midnight Blue. 1 Sabian HH 14" Hi Hat. 1 Zildjian 10" Spash. 1 16" Sabian AAX Crash. 1 Zildjian 1976 Vintage Ride. 1 Sabian AAX 18" Crash & 1 Paiste 18" China. Looking forward to upgrading to a Truth Kit at some point. I almost had an endorsement with them with my last band but we disbanded before it could happen.
