I used to play in a band back in highschool but dropped music just before graduation. Ten years later and I'd like to try again. I've been teaching myself music over the past year or so and and it's getting kinda boring just playing to backing tracks.
I work from home and am self employed, so I am constantly practicing in some fashion or another
I guess I'm just looking for people to jam with. Experience is limited, but I've performed in front of people on several occasions outside music and I find it almost always enjoyable. I'm comfortable with a bit of stage freight.
This is my old bands profile, obviously we were kids when this was going down, but we had fun playing either way. I'd like to get back to it. Just, you know, better this time

Influences
I have many influences. I grew up on music from Aerosmith and Queen, later discovered bands like Breaking Benjamin and Metallica, which influenced me to get into heavier music. Going to local shows has always been a hobby of mine, so several bands local to the Jonesboro AR area also encouraged me to at least attempt to play music

EQUIPMENT
I have but a humble Squire Jaguar Jazz Bass and a practice amp. I also have a keyboard, mic, and loudspeaker, but those belong to my girlfriend. She's an awesome singer, so don't be surprised if she wants to sing and play along as well, should the right songs be in the mix
