I have been rocking out since I was 2. Music is as much a part of me as breathing. I love writing lyrics and being on stage. I'm not doing it to live the "rockstar life", I do it because I love it. I want to be in a hard rock/grunge/alternative band with people with no egos, who believe in what they write. A band is a team and no one is better than anyone else, to me. As long as I can stand behind the music the band creates and people are able to hear it, I don't care where I play. I love the full band sound but would love to have some acoustic versions, as well. There's a whole other level to a song when it is stripped down. I may be a female but I don't necessarily sing like a typical one. I can hit some high notes if necessary, but I definitely have a lower range. I'm not into "opera rock" so if you're thinking you want an Evanescence style band then I am not the person for you. For the styles of music I prefer see the list of my influences. I really am just a down-to-earth person who loves to rock and wants to find people who take music seriously and can have fun at the same time to be in a band with.
