My name is Alexander Perl, and I am a professional Drummer/percussionist who has been playing for 15+ yrs. I am a Soldier in the Army (specifically the PA Army National Guard) in the 28th Infantry Division Band. I currently play in a personal band End of Thought (1 Album, 1 EP, 1 Single), but I am looking for a more professional/skill equivalent group to play with. I have also worked as a studio musician recording for a multitude of bands and artists who needed a short-term drummer for recording/gigs. I have played at Stage AE, Rex Theater in Pittsburgh, and countless other venues.
I am very proficient in most types of percussion and drumming instruments and I am proficient in most genres of music. Preferably I would like to play Funk, Hardcore, Punk, and Rock in general. However, I am open to any genre or style of music.
I practice a couple of hours every day with a large range of practice techniques and goals. I would be available to practice as much as needed with a band or artist and free to gig whenever needed. I am extremely flexible with schedules and will always make room where possible.
