Johnie Guerra began writing music as part of a band effort. He wrote and co-wrote songs for two bands before deciding to venture out on his own to write and record his own original songs. His song writing is inspired by many bands and musical genres ranging from Jimmy Reed to Jack White, from John Lennon to John Legend. On any given day his personal play list could include Offenbach, Public Enemy, Justin Timberlake, The Strokes, and Slipknot, just to name a few. He utilizes local talent, and the musicians are as diverse as his taste in music. Each comes from a different musical background and is based in a different genre. The songs are heartfelt, personal yet appealing to many. The end result is music that is touching, beautiful and for all generations.
