ABOUT

Hey! My name's Lauren. I'm 18 years old and have always had a huge passion for music. Its the blood that has pulsed in several generations of my family. Though I have always had great appreciation for music, I haven't had a passion to sing until about a year ago. I'm typically too shy, but multiple peers and vocal coaches have told me there is something special in my voice if I really dig deep for it. And with more practice, inspiration, and motivation, I see that "something" grow little by little. I've been in a few bands, but they have collapsed to quickly to really be "a band". I'm a native of Charlotte, NC and the area where I'm from, we have growing artists by the minute. People I grew up with in school are now becoming extremely infamous a long the coast between the ages of 16-19. They have hundreds of gigs, touring, a few signed, and already on iTunes. I listen to their music and they're all very talented with wonderful personalities. You can say they are the greatest influence that I have ever had and they motivate strongly to be something great. I definitely give thanks to Julia Bullock (Lead singer of Lyra Shines - aka "The Local Traumatic") who has been a great motivator in my journey in becoming a singer/lyricist/performer. She gives me the courage I need to push myself forward and work harder to be a voice/sound thats reckoned with in time. But as of now, I am still looking for highly dedicated individuals who would be willing to share a passion as fired as mine. Lead Guitarist/Vocalist, Rhythm Guitarist, Bass Guitar, Keyboard/synths, and drums.

I am currently very new to VA, so I don't know all the venues to play. If we were in Charlotte, NC I'd almost have us a gig each night! Haha! But if I do find individuals dedicated enough to tour in NC (maybe December) that would be phoenomenal!
