SEEKING
Band to Join, Vocalist, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Drums, Keyboard.ABOUT
Prefer collaborating on original compositions and seeking opportunities to perform what we come up with. Contact me at brendanmcisaac at google's email (get it?) if interested.
I have done the blues heavy/Grand Funk jam thing. Then the hair band 90s/Club Bene thing. Then the local grunge groove thing (rough cut original uploads and were all songs I composed).
My tastes run from ABBA to Zappa, Zep to Zero 7, Beasties to Brown, Beatles to Beck, Sly to Styx, Wings to Wonder, Alice Cooper to Paolo Conte and so on.
I would like to assemble or join up with a female vocalist in the downtempo/electronic/pop range - Morcheeba, Sia w/ Zero 7, Norah Jones w/ Dangermouse, Joni Mitchell, Goldfrapp, Bjork range as well as keyboards, guitars, drums. I usually prefer to start with a drummer and get a feel for each other and build from there but am open to any approach. I would be interested primarily in original compositions and working up to playing out places that fit the sound we create. Age doesn't matter - I am looking for originality, creativity, and fun.
I would also like to incorporate video/art into performance somehow...
