I have been playing guitar since I was a teenager in the 70's and keyboard for the last 10 years. I sing and play old R&R standards and some jazz and country. I was in a professional band, Black Pearl, in the past and would like to get something like that going again, or at least meet musicians for jam sessions. Maybe we can get started doing some open mic nights. I have a house with a large basement we can practice in.

EQUIPMENT
Several electric guitars with effects (I'm not much of one for effects though), 2 acoustic/electric (external pickup), a bass, a small mixer, 2 mics with stands, a drum machine, 3 amps to run from the mixer. The amps are small 20-30 watts. We could use this setup for small gigs but would need a better sound system for anything bigger than a small bar. My main guitar is a Martin acoustic but in a band I would mostly play an Ibanez AF75, a big hollowbody electric. I have two Casio Privia keyboards, with stands and a bench. I can play bass but it is not my strength.
