I believe music has a life all it's own...
They say I'm a "Wailer"...I'm LOUD...and intense... have broad octave vocal range (At my peak, 3 notes, under 5 octaves)...Mezzo Soprano...I've been singing all my life...LITERALLY... Almost any key...a variety of genres...harmonies...Yes, I worked hard...like a ballerina, toes bleeding to pointe...Haven't sight read in a LONG time...have a little studio experience...I also write lyrics, rather well and write other things...
This is not my livelihood...I've done the corporate climb, the wife & mom, the political activist, the caregiver rolls...and "chasing stars" gig.... I've just had a yearning to PLAY...and write, again...and would like to do it with other people who share my passion...So....
Seeking "SEASONED", nearby local musicians for Strong Blues Oriented Band Forming...because head banging is no longer an option...(wink)...Flexible Schedule (Not chasing a contract or fame, nor the hit record lottery...but not just for giggles, either) ...Considering "Select Covers"...perhaps unique covers... (Heavy Blues, but not necessiarily exclusively Blues) and Original...Performance and Writing, what it was always supposed to be about, right?...

Should note: I like a full member participation group...everyone contributes..blends who they are into the "machine"...nobody works for anybody; we all work together, individually and as "one"... The lights are bright enough to shine on everybody... I'm not looking for a back up band...
