email is chuck black 84 at g mail d o t c o m. 56 year old guitar player, singer & songwriter looking for a fun group of like-minded people to play with. I want to have fun and create/play interesting and creative music. I'm a rock guy but the older I get the quieter my style becomes but I'm definitely not against blasting some ZZ Top and Zep. Looking to connect with some players to expand and add on to my abilities. I lean toward rock but I dig ambient music, Americana, post rock, outlaw country and blues based stuff. I enjoy experimenting with synth and software based instruments and I love to produce in the studio. If you dig that too, let’s connect.

Playing in a live cover band doing some standard bar band fare and deeper cuts would be fun. Does the world really need another band playing Interstate Love Song? Probably not...how about Unglued instead! Down to write some original music as well. Currently in a heavy-ish rock band that plays out 1X per month and would like to add a second or third band to play some blues, americana, classic rock, folky stuff, outlaw country or whatever. I can quickly learn and play just about anything and have the equipment to cover any genre. I can play lead and rhythm guitar, sing, play some bass, song write, write lyrics and arrange. I love to write, record, engineer and produce my own stuff in my home studio and I'm pretty comfortable running Ableton and utilizing lots of different software and plugins. I'm a decent musician and studio engineer/producer so I hope to connect with musicians around the same skill level and desires.

Not looking to get in a working/bar band situation. Maybe have 1-4 gigs a month. I would also love to create music for artists to use in a creative space like painters, digital artists, filmmakers, performance artists, etc. No super late nights.
