Dionysis is an underground metal musician who has performed around VA,WV,NC,SC area in various underground metal groups since the 1990s. In 2006 Dionysis formed the Cult of Dionysis aka METALCULT out of a desire to create a permanent entity that would channel pure metallic music for the remainder of this lifetime. Dionysis recruited Michael Reece (Lead Guitar) and James Huff (Bass, Vocals) in 2008. In 2009 Matt Dowling (Lead Vocals) and Grayson Flippin (Rhythm Guitar) were recruited. Now the Metalcult seeks membership and/or collaborations in the form of Keyboard, Piano, Soundscape Atmospherics, Orchestration, and Female Vocals. The Cult of Dionysis have a large body of original material they are preparing to record, and rehearsals are underway to prepare for a campaign in 2010 to spread the Metallic gospel throughout the VA/NC area.
I think this whole idea of charging people to contact one another is bull$#!%...BUT the overall site is still useful. We rehearse in Dobson, NC and perform in areas around Virginia and North Carolina right now.
