(myband@mac.com) I am currently looking for a couple of acoustic guitarist to form a small group performing rock and top forty covers in an unplugged fashion. Centrally located in Greenville, we can perform in a dozen different places in town and many more from Spartanburg to Clemson. I have dozens of contacts that are ready to book us.
Please contact me directly if your ready to play or can learn fast. myband@mac.com I'll send you a current song list and we can then exchange ideas.

Pro singer/songwriter/frontman moving from South Florida to Greenville SC. Have been performing for audiences since I'm 9 years old. I'm classically trained and have the strongest set of pipes I've ever heard next to one person I know. NO JOKE!!! Years of stage experience in rock styles. Professional and driven with no ego, just truth. There's always some one better than you out there, and it's not a competition between players. No matter what the industry trys to tell us. Just do your best to share what you've got. I will say that I'm a bit spoiled, that I've had the priviledge of playing long term with some really amazing players so I expect the best from everyone. You can be the most proficient player out there, but what makes you great is how well you work with others and your attitude. No assholes or Egos. Please don't waste OUR time. I don't mean to sound harsh, just sayin what I mean. Thanks (myband@mac.com) Stay in touch.

Influences:

What we listen to is not always what we play. That being said, I listen to: Beatles/Jeff Buckley/The Roots/Pink floyd/Radiohead/Red Hot Chili Peppers/Snow Patrol/Jack Johnson/Motzart/Ben Harper/Billy Joel/Slayer/Any Raggae/Alice in Chains/Clash/Dave Mathews/Any Accustic Rock/De La Soul/Dead Milk men/Garth Brooks/Splender/Fleetwood Mac/Foo Fighters/Any Fifties oldies/Frank Sinatra/Gorillaz/Green Day/Janes Addiction/John Mayer/Jeff Buckley/The Killers/Vivaldi/Nirvana/Doors/Pearl Jam/Peter Gabriel/The Police/My own stuff/Did I say, Jeff Buckley/Ray Charles/The Rolling Stones/Rusted Root/SUBLIME/Lauren and family.......I think you get it. I try to listen to as much as my ears can handle. Except the wife.... And I can sing most of what's listed above. LOL

Equipment List:

I have a pretty decent P.A. system consisting of a 2x1000 watt 3 way Mackie towers for mains/ the Bose Cylindrical P.A. system w/sub woofer that I use for accustic shows or as a vocal monitor and strengthener with a band. (Don't leave home without it) /A 16 channel studio recording board that I've been over working out at clubs. Tons of ins and outs. No onboard effects thou./Peavey Powered 18" subwoofer/ Wireless mic (shure) + 3 SM 58's and 1 Beta 57/ Tons of XLR, 1/4" patch, Speaker, and adapters/ Vocal Effects proccesor and pedal switch/ Wireless in ear monitor/ 2 tri-pod speaker stands(to use w/someone elses speakers)/Always looking for bigger and better..........

To further answer the question that are posed below acurately and effectively since your choices are limited, I would say:

1. Too many gigs to count, I've been earning my stripes with a pretty busy coverband for over 3 years. playing as long and hard as possible. Before that I was with several Original bands, two of which were very close to going to the "big show". Great bands and people. To take a guess, I would say about 400 to 500 gigs in total since high school and plenty before that.

2. Depends on the project and the people involved. But typically my last band never practiced. We all said, come strong or don't come at all. There simply wasn't the time when you're playing as much as we did.

3. I admit that I hope to be very busy with work all around, but I do look forward to planned time for myself and family. I hope to gig as much as possible.

4. And for the last one I'll say, "nights" When else do you get to do this stuff? Night people rule.
