I've been playing bass for 30 years and have gigged all over Colorado at venues large and small (mostly small). After taking a few months off I'm itching to start gigging again. I've played rock, R&B, Celtic/Irish, surf, funk, prog, ska, alt country, really mediocre jazz, and punk/metal when I was younger and louder.

My main bass is a 4-string electric these days, but I can pull out the 5-string or the upright if the material calls for it. I've got enough boutique gear to destroy a small city, but I also have the good sense to keep the stage volume low and let the sound tech do their job. I have reliable transport, a good job and a stable home life, which is apparently unusual enough to be worth mentioning.
