I started playing piano when I was a kid and then played bass guitar in some garage bands in high school. As an adult, I have learned to play mostly rhythm guitar, primarily acoustic, but I have been playing more and more electric now that I have a Helix Multi-Effect and a PowerCab to play with. When I like a song, I will look up the tabs online and try to play along. I can play some basic chords and I am learning more and more licks and lead parts. I know my basic music theory and I am continuing to learn more. I'd like to try to make a step up in skill and I would really love to find some others like me who would like to get together and play and, ultimately, I would like to play in a band. I played in some garage bands in high school but I have not played in a band in a long time. I would really like to connect with others who like the same music and either join a band or start one just for fun.
