Older musician- started playing when I was 9 years old, so that means I've been playing (ahem) a long time!
Have played in bands when I was just starting out- I play now for my own amusement and fun. I record to my PC using Cool Edit Pro, and that's been a lot of fun- better than the old Tascam cassette rigs.

If I could find someone to play with, that would be cool-as all of you know, if you have a playing partner- things just seem to play better- I don't know why or how, but it just is.

I played with a guy in my old hometown for a couple of years- (acoustic only) and I always looked forward to the nights we would play. We'd usually try and play 2 or 3 times a week.

Influences:

Infuences- all over the place, really- from Gram Parsons and Emmylou to Jean-Luc Ponty, other jazzers.
A lot of country and country-rock, along with a good amount of bluegrass. Also like to pick out my own tunes and record them.

Equipment List:

Several acoustic guitars, an old Tascam 414, mics, stands, etc- all of your basic equipment.
I also do some minor luthier/repair work.
