Intermediate bass player and drummer in our mid-30s looking for others to start an 80s/90s/00s alternative cover band. Not necessarily a note-for-note tribute band. We’d like to find a combination of lead/rhythm guitarists and a vocalist. We can commit to practicing once or twice a week and would like to start playing shows maybe once or twice a month. We have a practice space and have put together a huge list of bands and songs we are interested in playing that we would be happy to send you if you’re interested.
We both have some experience playing in a few shows and working with other musicians. It’s extremely important to us that you are willing to put in the work, come to practice prepared, and be easy to work and communicate with. These things are more important than technical skill. We will all get better as we play, but if you aren’t fun to work with and play with, it won’t work.
