Influences

I'm interested in building upon what has come before instead of simply copying it. Not centered on any genre. Just driving on sincerity.

An eclectic list of musicians that I think are doing interesting things either sonically or lyrically are:

Gypsy Death Star - a short lived but wonderfully unique project
Dub FX - any of his older street performances
Ren - "Money Game Part II" the Lyric Video includes the music
Kim Dracula - "Superhero" a bit Mr. Bungle-like
Pylot - his guitar tracks are pretty clean
Carlos Santana - he mixed things up back in the 60's-70's

Check out for some clever mash ups like "Eric B & Rakim vs Eminem" and "2Pac & Dr. Dre vs Lynyrd Skynyrd" that demonstrate how very distinct and separate styles can be explored to bring out the best qualities in both.
