ABOUT

I'm looking for several things. It would be sweet if they were all the same thing, but it would be all right if they are all different.
The first is people to form a band. I don't get anything out of copying some other band, but we could do covers if we make them our own. We could do shows wherever bands do shows.
The second is people to be a worship team. My goal, God being my help, is to start a home group, possibly in the Vineyard movement. I played bass guitar at the Anniston Vineyard for twelve years, and have been part of the Gadsden Vineyard for several years, although I recently was confirmed in the Episcopal communion and attend St. Luke's in Jacksonville.
This proposed worship team could lead worship weekly in our home meeting. And it may not literally be in a home, but definitely somewhere intimate and comfortable. We could also go out and play in public, or as a service to other fellowships.
The third thing is people to form a church launch team. I want the home group to become a congregation of its own, which will then foster other home groups which will become congregations of their own, etc. If you commit to the launch team, you are not necessarily committing to be part of the new church. I am asking God for people of all spiritual gifts and ministries. And by the way, it specifically needs to be a multiracial and multicultural group.
I write and sing and play guitar and bass. I am learning banjo. I like O Brother music, blues, jazz, rock 'n' roll, doo-wop, classical, black gospel, Southern quartette, Sacred Harp, Afro-Cuban, reggae, Gregorian chant, and most music that sounds like it was written and performed by humans.
