Hi, I'm Dominic, guitarist, 46 years of age, recently arrived from the UK. Have played and gigged in a number of hobby / cover bands over the last 20 years, mainly for fun, sometimes for money, and I'm looking for something similar on this side of the pond. Influences
Any "good" guitar based music, really, but the guys I mainly listen to are (in no particular order) AC/DC, Free, Status Quo, ZZ Top, Thin Lizzy, Black Sabbath, Whitesnake, Black Crowes, Stereophonics, Motorhead, Iron Maiden, Deep Purple, Aerosmith, Airbourne, Bad Company, Beatles, Foo Fighters, Green Day, Guns n Roses, Led Zeppelin, Judas Priest....that should give you a flavour! (flavor?)
EQUIPMENT
Sadly, the amps (Hughes and Kettner Switchblade 100w combo, Marshall FX 100w combo) had to be sold in England due to the difference in mains current - just not worth shipping them and getting them rewired. Just my Roland Microcube for now. Guitars are Gibson Les Paul Standard and Epiphone SG, both fitted with Seymour Duncans.
