I have been playing drums for 14 years, and I have been playing electric bass guitar for almost 2 years. Put simply, my goal is to rival my influences (see Influences) in terms of proficiency of the instruments. I measure said proficiency based on others' enjoyment of the music played.

My playing is to illustrate my passion for:
John Coltrane quartet (post bop, hard bop, avant garde, free jazz), Cream (psychedelic rock based on American blues songs, and their improvisational "jams"), and Yes (various covers from their first five studio albums)
