I am a indie rock veteran of Philadelphia. I decided to branch out and record a solo effort which I finished this year. I desperately need to play shows to help get this project off the ground, but most of my friends have babies, wives, and/or restrictive day jobs. Rehiring the professional musicians who helped me complete my record just isn't feasible/affordable. I have some local musicians I can call on, but no one full time. I would love to hear from guitarists, pianists (or skilled keyboardists), and MULTI-INSTRUMENTALISTS (!!), but I am in MOST DIRE need of a drummer and bassist, as those are the two hardest to replace. Also, violin, viola, and cello are encouraged to reply.
Please have your own gear. Please be good at taking direction, but not entirely devoid of good ideas. Please be open and available for out of town shows and touring. Please have a pleasant personality and appreciate off color humor and bad jokes. (it's tough to be in a band without that last one)
MOST IMPORTANTLY: Please be beyond the sex, drugs, and rock n' roll part of your musical career. I wanna do this for a living, not to get "chicks." Lets have the time of our lives being successful, not waste-oids.

Members Of Band
Ideally 9 including me. Live strings. Drums, bass, full time piano/keys, full time guitar, and 2nd guitar/keys/do dads. I can hire all professionals to play shows and I've done it, but I'd prefer to have an actual committed band. I will hire who and what I have to until we get others to join us. Don't be overwhelmed by the numbers.
