Been singing all my life; but only recently decided to take it up for live performance purposes. I feel I have a great personality for fronting a band; I am not shy to engage audience. 57 year old male singer/songwriter (& literary/visual artist) with examples available on request. Seeking gigs just for fun, exposure, & preferably (but, not necessarily) paying gigs... Band would be ideal. Open to collaborations; studio/stage, musical theatre productions, etc., also. I can sing all genres. I do not play an instrument. Must be local to Scranton area (no more than half hour drive). I live alone, so can make provisions to host limited practice (Not good for full band though; except, maybe in the yard, in appropriate weather). Way too many influences to list, but a few: Johnny Cash, Steely Dan, CCR, Doors, Billy Joel, Neil Diamond, Springsteen, Grand Funk, Clapton, Pink Floyd, Dire Straits, Grateful Dead, Mellencamp, stray cats, eagles, skynyrd, CSNY, Croce, Gordon Lightfoot, Elvis, etc... All classic rock, soft rock, old country, southern rock, rockabilly, broadway, crooners, gospel punk, funk, r & b, alternative, motown, oldies folk, indie & even a little rap.
