I am a 19 year old aspiring artist looking for a band to be the lead vocalist in. I have been singing since I was little snagging lead roles in school musicals starting in third grade all the way through high school; however theater has never been my true passion. I began writing my own songs at age 8 and have continued to now. I dabble in piano and guitar to write the songs. Ive had lessons in the past so I can play those instruments a little bit, but I was previously in voice lessons for 4 years which is my strong suit. I moved to Pittsburgh in March and after a year of hating college without music Ive decided I really want this to be my career. Since then, I've started voice lessons and open mics again. Although I can accompany myself I'd really love to write music and sing with a band behind me so I can focus on myself as a vocalist and a performer. I don't have anything up online yet, as I've never been a recording artist, but that is something I want to do in the near future as well as play gigs. I would love to audition for any band in need of a lead vocalist. My music taste is very broad including pop, rock, punk, alternative, acoustic, etc.
