ABOUT
Hello, and thanks for checking out my page!
My name is Joel Carlson, and I've been involved with music for over 25 years. I am a classically trained singer who falls into a Baritone and Tenor 2 range. I also played Clarinet for 8 years, and I'm currently learning guitar.
I began singing as a kid in the church choir, and never really stopped. I trained as a choral singer for most of my youth, and went on to learn other modes of music througout my school years.
My resume includes 3 NH All-State Choral appearnces, the Monadnock Music Festival, Keene State Chorus, and the select Keene State Chamber Choir. While at Keene State, I participated in the full-deparment production of the Carmina Burana. I have had the privelage and honor of being conducted by some of the region's finest conductors, including Dr Carroll Lehman and Dr. David Cox.
I have also appeared in Musical Theater, including Grease, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, and Leader of the Pack.
I've expanded my singing into different genres, including Alternative, classic rock, pop, jazz, and blues.
I'm open to virtually any kind of musical project. Reach out and let me know what you're looking for!
