Retired from audio/video business, but have played private clubs and night clubs from Long Beach, CA to Sitka, AK, and some in Nevada. I am essentially a song stylist. I have been playing bass for 40 years after 10 years of rhythm guitar. I now play both bass and 12-string rhythm. I have partnered with a world-class drummer that has played on 2 USO tours, Grand Opry California tours, has been a session drummer for 4 record labels and taught percussion at the Yamaha School of Music. A rare find. I can be seen on the First Christian Church of Paradise , or my own /smittymusic. Currenty I volunteer a little time to the old ones at LifeHouse Cypress on Tuesday mornings with my 12-string, and work Good Country Band at the church Friday evenings playing bass. The drummer (Charlie Hatley) cab heard on you tube by looking up the Tim Murphy Band. We are trying to put a working band together making clean music. Charlie has drummed for Merle Haggard, Jenny Sheppard, Buck Owens, Little Jimmie Dickens and many more prominent names.
