Hi there, my name is Giavanna, but you can call me Gia. I'm in the process of forming a metal band with some peers around my age. (I am 16 and in 10th grade as of April 2nd 2022.) I play guitar and sing/scream. While I'm still looking around and trying new styles, I do have a few ideas in mind of what our band could look like. I already have many songs written, one is even complete. I just need people that our willing to commit to the band, but most importantly, have fun and rock on.

Influences
Some very influential bands for me would be my very first obsession band, which is my chemical romance. Although I am going for a heavier sound than what they have I think that their messages and songs are great, and some songs are even up there in my top ten favorite songs. Another band that would make more sense as to being influential for my band is Slipknot. They are heavy, angry, and make awesome music. I would love to half half of the influence and energy that they have some day. Last but not least is the band Kittie. Although they are not as well known as the other two, they certainly make up for it in attitude and music talent. They are heavy, loud, and quite frankly, awesome. These are the bands that have influenced me to make my decision and form a metal band.
Members Of Band
So far I just have myself in the band on rhythm guitar (or lead guitar depending on the other guitarist's comfort) and vocals. I need a bassist, another guitarist, and a drummer. If anyone else would like to be in the band and can only do vocals that is fine as well, backup vocals always work well, although I'd prefer if you can play an instrument as well.
EQUIPMENT
I have a few amps that I can lend if needed, and a drum set. My brother has a bass but its unlikely that he would let anyone use it. I highly recommend that you have your own equipment but I do have another guitar amp and a bass amp if needed.
