Playing pro since the 60's. Looking for a no-nonsense band of adults to play out 2-3 times a month. Let's do some great covers from Classic Rock, Blues and Country and make the girls dance!! Pro gear and attitude, no drama and expect the same. . I show up on time and put in the time to learn the tunes. I grew up playing hard rock, but don't mind playing anything as long as it is rhythmic and tasty. Some of the new Country is pretty good as is some Americana. I have played with so many bands, made music videos, toured the US and recorded in the studio many times. I am also an audio engineer. Sorry - I am not into driving all over the city for rehearsals - you must be somewhat close to the East Valley.

Influences

Cream, Beatles, Tom Petty, Doobies, Steely Dan, Allman Brothers, Stones, AWB, etc, etc. Lee Sklar the bassist.
I've always felt my playing was a combo of Jack Bruce and Sir Paul. Heavy rhythm with some nice melody and fills.
Until recently, I had been playing with 3 bands - Easy Classic Rock, Hard Blues and Originals. All have fallen apart for various reasons - Time for someone new!!

Various Fender, Ibanez, Hofner, Lakland and other brand 4 and 5-string basses, as needed. MarkBass amp with add-on cab for outdoor gigs. Some pedals. Mics and stands. Good transportation. Cool hat and sunglasses.
