ABOUT

I’m looking for people to have fun and be creative with. Whether it’s a friendly jam session, recording, or doing live gigs, it’s about expression, passion, etc.

For the most part, I like and play several styles of music, and I’m not against trying anything.

When it comes to my experience, I’ve played the drums the most when it comes to performing live. My style is basic, but solid. I’ve been taught that when it comes to drums, less is more and that my job is to keep the rest of the band focused. Also, I understand dynamics, meaning I know how to play quiet as well as I do loud. I played drums for near ten in churches and became very well versed on how to control my volume early on. So from unplugged cafe gigs to several hundred person venues, I can adapt and accommodate.

With that said, I’d have to say my main instrument is probably guitar. It’s the instrument I have practiced the most. I’ve gone from playing rhythm guitar in community jazz bands to laying down lead tracks on random punk and hard rock recordings to providing backing in church bands. So yeah. I love guitar.

A caveat for right now... I’ve been diagnosed with lymphoma (a type of cancer). But I’m kicking it’s ass. Unfortunately that means that my immune system is non-existent. So I’m pretty much locked down. But I’m still active and practicing so that when things go back to normal, I can hit the scene hard. I want to build connections now.

Also, going to Klamath for practice is not a problem. I also have space at my house to jam out at and have been working on making it a solid place to practice.

Any other questions feel free to ask.
