ABOUT

If interested, follow me--eventually, I'll purchase the messaging service. Videos coming soon...they won't be great quality, but they'll do.

Here's the deal:
I want to give people hope, happiness, and, to quote the Newsboys "Love, Liberty, Disco". But first, I want to create songs of intention and purpose. Yes, I am a Christian, and I'd prefer to gather with Christians not to be exclusive but to be a part of community.

You'll see in my references what I like, but I'll explain why I've listed these. Plain and simple, they created songs (particularly acute to the mid-90's to mid-00's era) that were quite honest about failing, yearning, and (for the Christian ones) spreading the message of reconciliation and hope in an exciting way, like it should be.

Contemporary P&W is quite boring; sure, there might be some deep (and perhaps solid) theology behind the songs, BUT let's be honest: there aren't many stained-glass windows being created.

If you have a further question of what that means, it's simply that stained-glass windows were created to share the gospel message (yes, I acknowledge the historical church's failings and hypocrisies) to a people who, in all likelihood, couldn't read--let alone Latin (which was the language of the bible as read by priests) nor did they have/were allowed to have a personal bible.

That being said:
For the project I most desire to do, I'd like our projects to touch the themes expressed earlier with the acknowledgment both that Jesus expressed such concern (i.e. for forgiveness and reconciliation) and that our hope, within ourselves, is to be shouted to people and allow their worship to be filled with gladness.
