ABOUT
I've been playing on and off since I was 14. I've gotten back into playing over the last couple of years and I'm really enjoying it. I'm possibly looking to fill in for a cover band for a few gigs in August. Our drummer just had surgery and he's going to be unable to play for a couple of months and I don't want to not gig for that long. I'd also like to make some connections and just have a good time playing. I'm reliable in all aspects. I show up on time, I know the songs, and as far as my gear goes, I could probably play Dodger stadium with the rig that I have.

Influences
For cover tunes it's not all that important. I grew up idolizing Steve Harris, Geddy Lee, and Billy Sheehan. But like I said, unless I'm playing those songs, then I sound like the bass player for the band that we're covering.
EQUIPMENT
I have professional gear.
Ibanez Prestige SDGR with top of the line Bartolini soapdish pickups. I also have another bass that I use for down tuning and emergencies in case something goes wrong with the Ibanez. It's an Ocean 5-string that I could gig with consistently but it's not as good as my main bass.
My rig: Carvin BX1200 head. Two cabs: Mark Bass 410 and Mark Bass 15. I run a Boss ME50B effects processor that can make a whole variety of oddball sounds but I only use effects when the song calls for it.
