I was born and raised in New York City, where I was exposed to a tremendous amount of music. After moving to South Florida, I became an important member of that entertainment community and continued for many years. I have recently moved to the Atlanta area and want to continued my musical journey.
I am a classically trained pianist, playing since I was 7 years old, and earned my Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from the Manhattan School of Music, and ripened my talent progressing from Classical to Pop, Rock, Country and Blues. Throughout my life, I have professionally honed my skills through associations with many different bands and musicians. In recent years, in addition to studio recording, I was the keyboardist/backup singer for the Albert Castiglia Band and toured with them nationally for about five years. I have played with blues legends Michael Bloomfield, Hubert Sumlin (Howlin’ Wolf’s guitarist), Bob Margolin (Muddy Waters’ guitarist), Chris Beard, John Mooney, Joey Gilmore, J.P. Soars, Zac Harmon, Latimore and many others.
Besides the obvious influences of all the great rock bands, from the Beatles, Stones, and Animals through Green Day and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, my playing has been influenced by Barry Goldberg, Alan Price, Ray Charles, Otis Span, and Chuck Leavell.
