My name is James (Jimmy) Taylor. I am a drummer/percussionist. I am 33, married w/ children. I majored in music/percussion at UCF in Orlando. I have played for several production companies, doing anything from trap set in a pit for musicals, studio work, swing dance bands, party bands, corporate events, to orchestras. I taught percussion in the high school public school system in South Florida. I was, for several years the drummer for one of South Florida's renowned big bands and a jazz quintet that included Grammy nominated players. I specialize in jazz, country, big band, pop, R&B, blues, latin & modern rock. I also for the last 3 years have been a cast member for the NFL Carolina Panthers PurrCussion Drum Line. I am a regular drummer and percussionist for Good Shepherd United Methodist Church. I am currently the PROUD drummer for the award winning Jeff Taylor Band.
