Big fan of jam/funk/jazz/groove bands. Getting into newer rock (MGMT/Muse/Killers/Phoenix). Been playing/studying for 13 years, want to find people to write some songs with. Will be in the city for at least the next 2 years in NYU's graduate music business program. Someone with a good ear / knows some theory / can count and keep good timing would help because I don't read music too well and use that stuff to explain myself.
