I have been playing for 40 plus years starting out in coffee housees with folk music and progressing through, what was then, Top 40 and into Country and Bluegrass. I have most always attended church and love to sing Christian songs but I am more familiar with traditional ones or gospel tunes. I can sing most parts and would be comfortable as a backup vocalist if the other voices were strong. I like most types of music but will not join a band that does not have strong vocal talent. I am fluent in guitar and mandolin.
